Jewelry Care

GENERAL CARE

Our pieces are made with the utmost quality and care. But there is always more that can be done to properly take care of your new jewelry. To keep them as beautiful as when you first got them, for longer!

Protect the plating of your jewelry by removing it when washing your hands, swimming, exercising, cleaning and before applying any kind of personal body product.

Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as soaps, perfume, lotion, makeup, hair & cleaning products, etc.

STERLING SILVER JEWELRY CARE

Sterling Silver is delicate and malleable. Naturally, Silver is a very soft material and may be damaged if not handled with care.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?

We suggest you remove your jewelry while showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Please avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, makeup, hair and cleaning products as they contain chemicals and oils that can affect the finishing and increase the wear on your piece.

CAN I SHOWER OR SWIM WITH MY JEWELRY?

For best care, do not shower or swim with your items. Keep them in a cool dry place and remove before bathing.

MY JEWELRY IS TURNING COLOR, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

While sterling silver won’t fade or turn colors, it can tarnish over time if not properly cared for. To keep your silver from tarnishing, keep it dry, store it in a cool, dry place.

Every person’s unique skin-oils react differently to certain metals and plating. We are not responsible for your skin's reaction to our products. Gold Plated jewelry will turn naturally over time, and there is no way to reverse this. You can prolong the life of your jewelry pieces by following our care recommendations.

WHAT SHOULD I USE TO CLEAN MY JEWELRY?

For best cleaning we recommend using warm water and detergent-free soap then polish and dry with a jewelry safe cloth to avoid scratching.

JEWELRY CARE FOR DELICATE ITEMS   -  Bracelet/ Choker

This item is delicate if mistreated as with all small tennis bracelets. Please only pull it straight. Please do not twist it and do not use a twist motion when you opening or closing the clasp or the links may snap. If you twist it, this will be the reason why it snaps.

Please put the tennis bracelet on last when getting ready and take it off first to avoid the prongs of the bracelet from getting caught. The prongs will loosen if it gets caught on clothing. If a prong gets too loose, the stone might fall out as the stone is handset into the prongs without glue.

METAL SENSITIVITY

Those that are sensitive to copper or brass should not purchase brass based jewellery and instead opt for our Stainless Steel jewelry.

Our 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry  (all 925 Sterling Silver contains 92.5% sterling silver and 6.5% copper) which may be a better option for you if have had green tainting on your rings before.

We take no responsibility or liability for any reactions that may take place; It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all precautions are taken as we are unable to know each individual's allergies and sensitivities.
